The message on the pocket "A Time to Bake..." is a whimsical nod to the passage in the biblical book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 3. This passage talks about how "there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." Which itself can be such a source of encouragement and blessing, when we are in a tough season, or feeling guilty about being in an easy season!

The passage contains lots of pairs of activities, for example "a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance". This made me think about baking, (it doesn't take much!) and I thought it'd be fun to have an apron saying "a time to bake..." as in my head it completes with "...and a time to eat"!

So whether for you or someone else, hopefully this apron can serve as a reason to smile and be encouraged that God loves us and is there for us whatever season of life we are in.
